The sad state of Zimbabwe
December 26, 2007 – 12:42 am by JohnRobert Mugabe has ruined the once-nice African nation of Zimbabwe because he, too, is a fascist, insane zealot. He is a racist who seized all the white people’s land and drove every prosperous, successful person out of the country. His incompetent control of the central bank has resulted in astronomical inflation, such that 750,000 Zimbabwean dollars won’t buy a loaf of bread. The inflation and communism of this genocidal madman has impoverished and ravished an entire nation, and he suffers none—quite the contrary, as he sits comfy and rich in his mansion. Thanks to Justin Ptak on the Mises blag and to commenter severin for this astute observation: "I find it odd that most Americans understand that excessive printing of money in countries like Zimbabwe and Mexico (circa 1980′s) is the reason for massive inflation, and yet they don’t seem to understand that the same thing is happening here, just on a smaller scale."
