Democrats won’t vote for Paul
January 13, 2008 – 12:29 am by JohnI think it’s really a shame there is such a close and heated Democratic-nominee race, because this leads most Democrats to take a side for either Hillary or Obama, to influence the future of their party, for obvious reasons. Which means they can’t vote against the idiotic neocons running for warmonger-inflater in chief. If one candidate or another were a shoe-in (which is rare), many would cross party lines to vote for the only real anti-war candidate, the anti-Republican, Ron Paul. (Btw, I predict Ron will do quite poorly in Tuesday’s Michigan primary. I haven’t seen or heard a lot of support for him here, in my very passive gauging of the politics of southeastern Michigan. I think he’ll do about as well as the previous two states.)
