Undecided voters are the biggest idiots on the planet
November 3, 2008 – 11:52 am by JohnIn Michigan and probably some other states, there has been some moderate amount of discussion, amongst state legislators and radio hosts and other worthless people, about whether voters should be allowed to wear political shirts to their polling places on election day. Since campaign advertisements such as signs and flyers aren’t allowed within a certain distance of voting booths, so should shirts promoting one candidate or another be banned from voting locations, the argument goes. This is because we wouldn’t want political propaganda to sway anyone’s vote right there at the voting location.
Honestly, if any voter could be influenced by a fucking T-shirt, on election day, when they’re already in line to vote, after this interminable and over-hyped presidential campaign, then that person is such a brain-dead waste of space that they should be banned from voting forever. Of course, I think everyone should be banned from putting other people’s rights up for a vote, and choosing leaders for other people. At the very least this issue demonstrates how absurd mob-rule is as a way of governing society. If the system allows idiots to decide who points the guns at whom and for what reasons, then it is the system, not the idiots, that are the problem. That’s only the beginning of the system’s problems.
