Zogby survey answers

November 5, 2008 – 8:13 pm by John

I receive Zogby surveys in my Hotmail inbox occasionally, and I participate in about half of them. I did one today, which was mostly but not entirely about yesterday’s advance auction in stolen goods. I was particularly intrigued by three questions in it, which asked me to type in my own one- or two-word answers, rather than clicking on a check box or radio button.

I can’t remember the exact wording of the questions, but I do remember my answers:

The first such question was: What two qualities do you place the most importance on in a president (or maybe it was presidential candidate). I wrote, “Freedom-minded, economically literate.”

The next was: What two actions do you feel are the most important for the next president to do? I wrote, “Decrease government, end wars.” Maybe “shrink government” would have been correcter grammar…but it fit the one- or two-word requirement and I had to get back to work.

I think the last one was specifically about the economy: What one thing should the president (or the government) do to fix the economy? I wrote, “Stop meddling.”
